Welcome to Woodingdean Medical Centre. Woodingdean is an eastern suburb of the city of Brighton and Hove in East Sussex, separated from the main part of the city by downland and the Brighton Racecourse. With a local population in excess of 10,000 and a list size of approx 6,000 we provide medical care to the vast majority of the local people. We are a forward thinking, innovative team with commitment to retaining the traditional strengths that General Practice offers.
Woodingdean Medical Centre recently moved into new purpose built facilities (shared with Woodingdean Library) in Warren Road.
This website has been developed to enable you to receive the best possible care from Woodingdean Medical Centre. We have a team of dedicated doctors and other health professionals available for your care. Woodingdean Medical Centre sets measurable standards that take into account our responsibility for delivering national and local priorities in health care. These standards are reviewed regularly and we monitor our performance against the standards set, by clinical audits.

The Practice conducts regular patient surveys as required by the QOF system. We are currently looking how we can improve patient involvement generally by setting up our Patient Participation Group and our new website.
Disabled Access & Facilities
The entrance, treatment room and ground floor consulting room are accessible to patients in wheelchairs. The patients’ toilet is suitably adapted. Please tell the receptionist if you need any special help when you make your appointment (please mention specifically if you are unable to go upstairs and arrangements will be made for you to be seen in a ground floor consulting room).
