Welcome to Woodingdean Medical Centre

We are a GP doctor's surgery serving the residents of Woodingdean, Ovingdean and from roads in Rottingdean north of Meadow Parade.

We offer all core General Medical Services funded by the NHS as well as a number of private services and clinics. As well as our three principal General Practitioners we have a number of other healthcare staff located at or attached to the surgery including practice nurses, health visitors, physiotherapists, midwives, audiologists, podiatrists and dermatologists.

At Woodingdean Medical Centre we are very proud of the service we provide to our registered patients. We aim to practice modern, high quality and innovative care for all of our patients and firmly believe that all patients have a right to equal access to medical care.

The Surgery will also be closed on Monday 28th May for the Bank Holiday.

If you need a GP urgently during this time please ring NHS 111.

Practice Assist

From 13th November 2017 we are introducing a new telephone service in order to increase appointment capacity.  When you call the surgery, your details will be taken & a GP will call you back the same day at a scheduled time. Your call may be taken by a GP not based at the practice but who has full access to your records. This service is the same as we offer with your usual GP.

HERE extended hours appointments (previously EPIC)

We are introducing a new pre-bookable NHS service for GP and nurse appointments outside of normal working hours. See our appointments section for further details.

We trust that this website will help you make the best use of all the services that we offer. Read more about Woodingdean Medical Centre here.
